From tech provider to trusted community partner

InCommon, a trusted provider of identity and access management solutions for research and higher education, faced a familiar problem: their brand hadn’t kept pace with their impact. Their audience was confused about what they did, the team struggled to articulate value, and the identity lacked the clarity and energy needed to compete .

InCommon’s legacy brand boxed them into a technical niche they couldn't compete in, and limiting their ability to be seen as a unifying platform for trust and collaboration. Internally, they needed alignment. Externally, they needed to be recognized as the forward-looking leader they already were.
