From commodity to brand authority
The situation: Kalsec, a global leader in natural food ingredients, needed to unlock the market potential of its high-performance hop solutions by connecting directly with craft brewers. The challenge lay in navigating deep corporate-versus-craft alignment among internal stakeholders and owners.
The breakthrough
“Brew Extraordinary” a concept that pushed the team to a visual identity system that bridged technical science with brewing artistry. The system focused on hard precise geometric angles, crisp typography, and bold photography mixed with enough dynamics and softness, generating a unique feel to represent the brand across assets.

My contribution:
Brand Strategy: Co-led the positioning framework to define the narrative tension, translating enterprise ingredient science into an authentic identity that resonates with craft brewing culture.
Art Direction: Led the visual identity system, establishing the geometric design language, typography, and initial packaging architecture.
Stakeholder Leadership: Managed embedded client collaboration, leading high-friction alignment sessions with owners and corporate stakeholders to unify conflicting priorities and secure final buy-in.
